About us

InnoCare Optoelectronics Corporation (referred to as “InnoCare”) was established in April 2019 in Taiwan. The company is in the Southern Science Park of New City District, Tainan City. Its main business is the design and development of X-ray flat panel detectors. Our products are the most technically advanced and highest quality manufactured. InnoCare is the world leader in this field.

Innolux, the founding shareholder of InnoCare, is a global Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display (TFT-LCD) manufacturer. For over 20 years, it has been committed to the development of thin-film transistor products and technologies. InnoCare is based on this foundation and continues to advance the research of the photodiode (PD) manufacturing process.

Application

The intended use of the x-ray detector is for the Medical, Veterinary, and Industrial Industries. All X-ray detectors provided by InnoCare Optoelectronics have excellent X-ray absorption and image processing capabilities.
All detectors ensure high-quality images under poor exposure conditions.

Medical

The human medical line of x-ray sensors is suitable for all general radiographic procedures such as the inspection of the thoracic cavity or bones of the human body.

Vet

The veterinary line of x-ray sensors is suitable for all general radiographic procedures such as the thoracic cavity or bones on an animal.

NDT

The industrial x-ray sensors is suitable incoming inspection and outgoing inspection for manufacturers and assembly plants.

Dual Energy

高階雙能

The highlight and specialty is to perform the separation of bone and soft tissue under one exposure.

Clinic Performance of Dual Energy:

“InnoCare is proud to cooperate with KA Imaging for the Dual Energy Detector (Reveal). We received TFDA certification for the Reveal 35C in October 2021. We are looking forward to sharing this single exposure dual-energy X-ray detection product with our existing channels & networks across major hospitals in Taiwan. The Reveal 35C has already received positive feedback from our current channels for KA’s product performance in the international market. “

Product Highlight of Reveal:

Reveal simultaneously acquires 3 images in one single shot, improving visualization of bone and tissue. Use the slider to transition between a traditional DR and the two dual-energy images created by Reveal.

Healthcare - Dual Energy KA Reveal 35C (14 inch wireless CsI X-ray detector)

Dual Energy

14 inch wireless X-ray detector

Innovative technologies for optimized veterinary care

The content on this page is intended to healthcare professionals and equivalents.

Reveal™ is the world’s first mobile digital detector capable of separating different energy levels in a single exposure. Without motion artifacts, it simultaneously captures dual-energy images and very-high DQE digital radiography (DR) images. Using KA Imaging’s patented technology, Reveal differentiates bone and soft tissue while maintaining low exposure to radiation.

Be ready for the world’s first portable multi-energy X-ray detector. With a single exposure, Reveal™ delivers multiple diagnostic images, differentiating bone and soft tissue without motion artifacts. Using KA Imaging’s patented technology, this detector goes beyond traditional Dual-Energy systems that require two exposures. The advanced differentiation of bone and tissue in diagnostic imaging allows for better visualization of cartilage calcification and tiny kidney stones, for example. At the same time, Reveal™ maintains low radiation exposure to the veterinary radiologist and the animal being imaged.

THE FUTURE IS NOW AND COST-EFFECTIVE

Reveal™ is designed to obtain a Multi-Energy X-Ray image from a single exposure using a conventional X-Ray source. The patented technology features a portable and retrofittable design, capable of simultaneously capturing Multi-Energy images and very high DQE digital radiography (DR) images.

  • Soft-tissue differentiation
  • Bone and soft tissue differentiation
  • Single exposure, no motion artifact
  • Retrofittable
  • Fixed and mobile applications
  • 80% DQE
  • Portable and retrofittable

FLEXIBLE APPLICATIONS

Reveal™ features a portable design, which makes it ideal for fixed and mobile DR
applications. The detector has been designed in the standard cassette size, allowing for retrofit in any existing x-ray system.
In medical applications, dual-energy technology has been clinically proven to be effective
in imaging and diagnosing pulmonary disease

Challenges in lung cancer screening

Globally, lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths, numbering over 150,000 deaths each year in the US alone. Despite the high incidence and death rate with this type of cancer, screening options remain limited and costly to implement for high-risk individuals. Often, lung cancer is diagnosed in late stages of the disease, limiting treatment options and lowering the rate of survival. Currently, the most commonly used method of screening on the market is Low-Dose Computed Tomography. Though effective, this method suffers from low availability and still exposes patients to high doses of radiation, which results in low follow-up numbers.

Clinical Trial

In October 2018, KA Imaging initiated a clinical trial at Grand River Hospital AL in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada to image lung cancer patients with Reveal™. TRIAL In this trial, more than 20 patients have been scanned using the detector to visualize lung nodules and lesions, with promising initial results. Chest X-Ray images displayed are from the clinical trial.

Smart design for Hot swap and seizing image in time

User can freely exchange battery at any time without stopping, shutting down or any power supply connect to the system. Moreover, our product ensures that the last image is kept in device before shutting down, in case of accidents.

Access point mode

Equipped with access point function, our product can connect to computer without extra wireless configuration setting. It undoubtedly brings a user-friendly interface to improving work efficiency.
