Going Digital! The Fusion of Cultural Crossover is coming

To promote Taiwan's international trade in cultural and creative industries and to assist Taiwanese enterprises to explore overseas business opportunities in targeted markets, TAITRA focuses on high-potential industries, including digital games, animation, good design products and art & craft boutiques. In this regard, TAITRA organized a variety of overseas and domestic promotional activities.

The metaverse is an online, three-dimensional digital world that combines multiple virtual spaces. The metaverse is the next big thing. With heavy investment and high interest from KOLs around the world, it could be the future version of the internet. Businesses have shifted into the work-from-home model during the pandemic, and many are now adopting a hybrid approach to working. The next level of this work-from-home involves helping people work and collaborate in a virtual reality experience. In order to seize the huge business opportunity of the metaverse market, we held two panel meetings and invited 14 companies in this industry, such as HTC, winking, Next Animation, and Ubitus, and exchange ideas to understand the future development of metaverse, as well as possible applications of this new technology

The activities aimed to connect Taiwanese enterprises with the most popular trends in industries, to invite international buyers to participate in the interactive platform in Taiwan, and to share market survey results. Key events include:

-      Organized delegations to attend 8 international online and offline trade shows and held 272 one-on-one business match meetings for 338 Taiwanese enterprises.

-      Organized 3 Taiwan In Design Pavilions at the 2021 Taiwan Expo (Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand).

-      Promoted Taiwan licensing business in Hong Kong and Tokyo and marketing good design products in France through social media.

Formed the Cultural and Creative Industries platform for interaction, matching business needs, and empowering businesses.
