BabyCare Smart Device
The BabyCare device is a real-time breath rate monitoring device that includes a health records function. Incorporating advanced IoT technology, the device connects to the mobile phone app and provides caregivers real-time data of the baby. In the event that the baby's breathing falls to a dangerous range, the device will initiate audible alerts through the app to alert caregivers that attention is needed.
The app has the ability to record the baby's health and growth details for easy tracking and monitoring, such as height, weight, head circumference, milk intake, and diaper changing rate. The app also provides a list of suggested vaccines to keep track of a baby's vaccination records.
The BabyCare device is designed with a clip to attach the device to the diaper. The research shows that the baby's tummy area is the ideal placement to detect the baby's movement and breath rate.
