About us
Tarng Yu Enterprise (TYU) is a leading Taiwanese supplier for internal connectors. Established in 1991, TYU has continuously expand its product range in Wire to Board, Board to Board, Wire to Wire, Board In, FPC and LED.
All manufacturing processes are performed in house from raw material to final product. Furthermore, the required molds and tooling for stamping, plastic injection, and auto-assembly are all developed and manufactured in-house. Our products span a wide range of industries such as Consumer Electronics, LED Lighting, Industrial PC, Automotive Vehicles, and LEVs.
In 2017 TYU established a New Product Development Department with two main focuses: Customized connector design and continuous expansion and development of automation production. The current focused industry lies in High Speed, High Power, and Waterproof connectors. With the company expanding towards customization, we understand the importance of intellectual property and patent rights. As a result TYU currently owns over 450 patents in Taiwan, China, USA, Germany, Japan, and Korea
Currently we have two manufacturing facilities. One is New Taipei City, Taiwan and the other in Dongguan City, China.

Light Electric Vehicle Waterproof Signal Cable-TW0601 Series
Miniature size signal cable used in E-mobility systems. This type of cable is most commonly used for signal transmission in e-bikes and e-scooters. The design features only a 6mm diameter in mating surface. Easy installation with foolproof design for end customers. The gold plate finish allows a greater threshold for current transmission.
Application uses in E-Bikes include the front and back light, the GPS system, display POD, throttle system, brake system, and torque sensor. Other applications are suitable depending on customer use.
Light Electric Vehicle Waterproof Cable-TW4002 Series
Standard signal cables used in E-mobility systems with pin range from 2 to 6. This type of cable is most commonly used for signal transmission in e-bikes and e-scooters. The design features easy installation with foolproof design for end customers. The gold plate finish allows a greater threshold for current transmission.
Application uses in E-Bikes include the front and back light, the GPS system, display POD, throttle system, brake system, and torque sensor. Other applications are suitable depending on customer use.
Light Electric Vehicle Waterproof Cable-TW2051/2 Series
2.0mm pitch wire-to-wire waterproof connector. With features such as solid rubber seals at the back of each connector, a rubber seal ring near the terminals, and a tight lock mechanism when mating allows for a reliable IP67 waterproof connection. This series includes both a wire to wire and wire to board design.
Commonly used in outdoor lighting system such as display boards, streetlights, and landscape lighting. In specific to e-bikes, because of the IP67 waterproof level this connector is common in more extreme terrains type bikes (i.e. gravel roads and mountain trails). With the flexible use in both wire to wire and wire to board design, this connector is ideal for low footprint and volume space.
Light Electric Vehicle Waterproof Motor Cable-TW1015 Series
This is the motor cable for E-bike and E-scooters. The standard model is a 3+3 or 3+6 power and signal pin respectively. An additional 3+7 power signal pin is added to this series with the added function as motor heat sensor. The design features easy installation with foolproof mechanism for end customers. The gold plate finish allows a greater threshold for current connection.
Apart from the e-mobility industry, this cable is also use in outdoor lighting systems and industrial robotics.
Light Electric Vehicle Waterproof Power Signal Hybrid Cable-TW0941
This is a power and signal hybrid cable for E-bike and E-scooters. Depending on application this cable can be used for power connection or a combination of power and signal connections. Having the power and signal pin put into one cable (hybrid connector) instead of two separate cables allow for easier assembly at e-bike assembly factories. Furthermore, with the versatility of a hybrid cable, it allows a more flexible design in the cable map for e-bikes and e-scooters.
This cable is most commonly used for connections between the battery to motor controller.

Standard signal cables used in E-mobility systems with pin range from 8 to 11. The increase in pin counts compared to the TW4002 series helps group several signal connections into one. This allows faster and easier assembly for e-bike assembly factories. This type of cable is most commonly used for signal transmission in e-bikes and e-scooters. The design features easy installation with foolproof design for end customers. The gold plate finish allows a greater threshold for current transmission.

Outdoor Lighting System Waterproof Two Pin Power Cable- TW1003 Series
Two pin power connection cable commonly used to connect the battery pack to the controller system in E-bikes. The design features easy installation and a lock to increase retention strength. Waterproof level at IP67. The gold plate finish allows a greater threshold for current transmission of up to 20A per pin.
Battery Pack Waterproof Hybrid Cable -TW1203 Series
This is a hybrid waterproof cable used in E-mobility systems. It contains 2 power pin and an option for 4 signal pins or 5 signal pins. The 5th pin is designed as a charging pin for certain e-bikes that wish to use this as a charging cable with up to 5A current. The mating surface is an irregular hexagon shape which makes it easier to mate and un-mate compared to the round shape. Waterproof level at IP67
Application use in E-Bikes includes power connection and can also act as a charging cable.
Light Electric Vehicle Battery Pack Waterproof Connector and Cable-TW2561 Series
A standard battery connector designed for the battery case on e-bikes and e-scooters. This design is the smaller version of our TW2801. 2 power pin and 5 signal pins respectively. Pin counts can be reduced based on customer request. This design can also be use as a charging cable for e-bikes and e-scooters.
Featuring IP67 waterproof level, foolproof mating mechanism.
