About us
Batom was founded in 1981 and has grown to a strong mid-size company. We are based in Taichung, Taiwan.
More than 95% of our gears are exported and the USA is our largest market and home to our top 5 customers.
Our company has been producing gears for over 40 years for automotive, industrial and aerospace applications
and we have grown to become a well-respected manufacturer of high-accuracy gears and transmission parts.
Our production capabilities allow us to offer our customers the quality, cost effectiveness and reliability they demand.
We value our strong links to our customers and this close cooperation, willingness and ability to manufacture and
develop new products in a short space of time has been the basis for our growth.
In the last 5 years we have focussed our Research and Development in the production of gears and shafts for
EV and Hybrid applications.
We are also cooperating with public and private partners to develop electric drive systems for all kinds of vehicles
– from E-bikes to electric trucks and buses.
