Products

Wideband Oxygen Sensor

Wide band oxygen sensor also known as "wideband O2 sensor" and "wideband AFR sensor", is an advanced 5 wire oxygen sensor with the same function as the conventional oxygen (O2) sensor. Commonly applicate on the vehicle made since 2000.

Wideband sensor detects an all-range broad spectrum of air to fuel ratio. With continuous sampling of the oxygen content within the exhaust gas, wideband oxygen sensor feeds its reading as how rich or how lean these oxygen contents are, then vehicle’s ECU can manage precise fuel injection to sustain ideal air to fuel ratio.

Ceradex’s patented dual cell wideband planar technology enables our sensors to achieve and exceed original equipped (OE) performance and specification.

Air Fuel Ratio Sensor

Air fuel ratio sensor, also known as "AF sensor" and "AFR sensor", is an advanced 4 wire oxygen sensor with the same function as the conventional oxygen (O2) sensor, commonly applicated on the Japanese-makd vehicle since 2000.

AF ratio sensor is particularly sensitive to the lean spectrum of air to fuel ratio. With continuous sampling of the oxygen content within the exhaust gas, air fuel ratio sensors feed its reading as how lean these oxygen contents are, then vehicle’s ECU can manage precise fuel injection to sustain ideal air to fuel ratio.

Ceradex’s patented single-cell air-fuel planar technology enables our af ratio sensors to achieve systematic oxygen pumping that allows higher detection accuracy in a linear format. Contact us if you have any questions.

Planar Oxygen Sensor

Planar oxygen sensor also known as narrowband O2 sensor, is a switch type lambda sensor that detects air to fuel ratio in binary format. The ceramic sensing element is monolithic stacked design, hence "planar". With integrated heating element, known as heated oxygen sensor, makes it faster to reach operational temperature, which result in lowering emission during start up time. The planar oxygen sensors generally come in 3 or 4 wires and covers most of the vehicle today.

Planar lambda sensor function as rich and lean indicator. With planar structured ceramic element, Planar O2 sensors have a faster response time than conventional oxygen (O2) sensors, allowing the vehicle's ECU (Electronic Control Unit) to manage fuel injection rapidly and sustain ideal fuel economy.

Ceradex's patented single-cell planar technology enables our sensors to achieved faster startup time and shorter response time that reflect more accurate lambda readings.

Motorcycle Oxygen Sensor

Motorcycle lambda sensor (oxygen sensor) is a critical component in the fuel injection system. It helps the system measuring the oxygen contents in exhaust gas then out signals in voltages to ECU (Electronic Control Unit) to calculate the air-fuel mixture of exhaust gas. Vehicle must maintain an air and fuel mixture of 14.7:1, the industry’s standard for efficient and optimal emission. Too much oxygen in this ratio means the engine is running lean, result in poor engine performance. Too much fuel in this ratio means the engine is running rich, result in bad fuel economy and high emission. Both conditions may shorten the lifespan of a vehicle's engine and catalytic converter.

Ceradex's motorcycle O2 sensor technology enables our sensors to achieve and exceed OEM oxygen sensor's specification and performance. With self-developed and produce sensor’s core ceramic element, Ceradex have the widest range available for both motorcycle and scooter, in OEM, ODM and aftermarket replacement sector.

NTC Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor

NTC stand for "Negative Temperature Coefficient", meaning the sensor resistance decrease as sensing temperature increase. NTC temperature sensor's resistance variation is in logarithmic (log) scale. NTC EGT sensor is constructed via press forming process with embedded conductor and made in various specification that require different particular temperature sensitivity sensing range. NTC exhaust gas temperature sensors are highly responsive to temperature variation, it feedbacks its signals in volage to ECU (Electronic Control Unit) to oversight vehicle exhaust system’s overall condition.

Ceradex's NTC temperature sensing element is made from self-formulated fine ceramic. With high-temperature tolerance sensor body materials, it can withstand against the harsh condition of the vehicle's exhaust system.

PTC Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor

PTC stands for "Positive Temperature Coefficient", meaning the sensor resistance increase as sensing temperature increase. PTC temperature sensor's resistance variation is in linear scale. PTC EGT sensor integrates PT200 sensing element construct via thin film process. Its characteristic indicates 200Ω (Ohm) when temperature is at 0°C. PT200 exhaust gas temperature sensor can accurately detect temperature difference and feedback its signals in voltage to ECU (Electronic Control Unit) to oversight vehicle exhaust system's overall condition.

Ceradex's PTC temperature sensing element are made from PT200 in accordance with OEM standards. And with high-temperature tolerance sensor body materials, it can withstand temperatures up to 900°C.
