TAIWAN CUSTOMS PORTS TRADE & CHT SMART PORT SOLUTIONS
Smart seaport solutions have become an important issue as all countries continue to build more efficient ports in response to the rapid growth of global shipping demand. CHT integrates the usage of automated gate system (AGS) based on AI, 5G, IoT new technologies to manage the security and control of personnel, vehicles, and containers entering and leaving the port areas in major international harbors across the country. At the same time, we developed automated container yard solutions to strengthen the efficiency and accuracy of various operations for the container yard, storage areas, and shipside. With the data integration from multi-source including the Harbor authorities, Customs, shipping and logistic companies, the Next-Gen Smart port solutions will fulfill the vision of smart ports in 2030.
The 3rd Generation of Motor Vehicle Driver Information System (MVDIS)
MOTC and Directorate General of Highways started to construct Motor Vehicle and Driver Information System III(M3）since 2012 in 3 Phases. The total fund for this project is around 19.09 billion.
The Design is based on service oriented concept including user experience, Intelligence by data mining, government open data convergence to M3 cloud and information security. Compared to Motor Vehicle and Driver Information System II, M3 consolidates 7 distributed Databases to one and provides MDM(Master Data Management) service to users. Furthermore M3 make use of Virtualization Technique for resource sharing and follows CMMI Level 3 for Project Management and Software Development.
The Internet Portal www.mvdis.gov.tw provides 14 PPS eNotice services by email, SMS and portal folder. Users can set up the PPS service by their own needs. M3 App for mobile device offers 18 type of Push notice Service combined with the mobile phone calendar to achieve active reminders of messages and Location Based Service.
