HIWIN i4.0BS (Intelligent 4.0 Ball screw) is the first ball screw in the world that can be mass produced to achieve smart manufacturing for Industry 4.0. With patented multi-function sensors and expert algorithm, users can monitor its service life, heat deformation, vibration, and lubrication. HIWIN developed a customized App to remote monitor conditions of multiple machines, help users to plan production and pre-schedule maintenance, and improve productivity by preventing machines’ unexpected stop.

Ball Spline

FEATURES

The HIWIN Ball Spline is a rolling mechanical component specially designed for guiding linear motion. It consist of a nut, a shaft, and a retainer holding the steel balls. With the recirculation of steel balls between the nut and the shaft, high accuracy linear motion can be achieved. Angular contact designs are adopted for the steel balls to bear radial loads and torques. By integrating the nut and the bearing, the ball spline can bear high loads with the compact structure.

Three sets of loading steel balls with DF angular contact arrangements are kept inside the retainer, recirculating continuously. With the optimized design of the retainer, high speed and high accelerated guiding motion can be achieved. The steel ball holding design of the retainer can prevent the steel balls from falling off when removing the shaft from the nut.
 
Capable of torque transmission
Comparing to the linear ball bearings, the steel balls is in angular contact condition, and the nut and the shaft is capable of transmitting the torque.
 
Integrated, compact structure
By integrating the nut and the bearing, the compact structure with high accuracy is realized.
 
Easy assembly
The retainer will hold the steel balls during assembly process, preventing the steel balls from falling off when removing the shaft from the nut.
 
Lubrication path
The grease is guided directly to the steel ball recirculating raceway by the optimized lubricating path design, improving the lubrication and increasing product life.

Multi-Axis Robot

FEATURES

HIWIN is the only one in the world which can supply full series of Robots to customer, includes Wafer Robot, 6 axis Robot, SCARA Robot and Delta Robot. The key components are made by HIWIN to offer customer added value and achieve smart manufacturing.
The wafer robot is installed in the semiconductor industry for wafer handling, which handles wafer with very precise and reliable performance. HIWIN has dual arm and single arm wafer robot. Can be integrated with customer’s processes according to the process layout.
The 6-axis robot is most flexible like human arm, have 6 axis freedom for machine pick and place and automation processes. We have 5 Kg, 10 Kg and 20Kg loading capacity to fulfill customer’s applications.
The SCARA robot has 4 axis and is good for automation processes for handling product in the same surface. It is been installed for product pick and place, inspection and assembly applications.
The Delta robot had 4 axis and with integration of CCD camera in the production line, is good for high-speed dynamic tracking, pick and place in the medical, electronical, and food handling processes.

Torque Motor Rotary Table

HIWIN is the only one in Taiwan and one of the only two companies in Asia which can supply Torque Motor Rotary Table to machine tool industry.

FEATURES

Torque Motor Rotary Table has the outstanding performance of no backlash and high accuracy. As it is direct driven by the torque motor, there is no gear in the system, so free from gear contact and backlash issue after gear worn out. Offers machine tool with 4 axis and 5 axis machining capability, creates value added to customer by machining complicate geometry product in one machine setup. Torque Motor Rotary Table been installed in the machine tool for medical, precision molding, automotive, 3D printing and precision measurement applications.

Linear Guideway

A linear guideway allows a type of linear motion that utilizes rolling elements such as balls or rollers. By using re-circulating rolling elements between the rail and the block, a linear guideway can achieve high precision linear motion.
